Manayunk landmark restaurant Jake’s will close this fall after nearly 40 years

After putting Jake’s & Cooper’s Wine Bar on the market, chef-owner Bruce Cooper has set a closing date: Oct. 19, the start of the Manayunk restaurant’s 40th year on Main Street.
