Man seriously wounded in Near West Side shooting that forced lane closures on Dan Ryan

A man was seriously wounded in a shooting that forced lane closures on the Dan Ryan Expressway early Tuesday on the Near West Side. The shooting happened around 3 a.m. in the 1200 block of South Ruble Street where a man was shot multiple times in the body, Chicago police said.
