Man killed in Levenshulme park pictured as family pay tribute to 'friendly, loving person'

NewsGreater Manchester NewsLevenshulmeTwo men have been arrested on suspicion of murder10:50, 19 Aug 2026The family of a man who sadly died in a Levenshulme park at the weekend has said he will 'never be forgotten' as investigations into his death continue.‌Greater Manchester Police said they were called to reports of a stabbing on Chapel Street at around 7pm on Saturday (August 15) close to Chapel Street Park.‌A 24-year-old man had sustained serious stab wounds and despite the best efforts of emergency services, sadly died at the scene.
