Emergency services were called to Steel Avenue at around 3.15pm on Tuesday, July 28 following reports of a crash.‌A man aged in his 40s has been taken to hospital with a head injury. A cordon was put in place at the junction with Sheen Road while police dealt with the incident. An air ambulance was also spotted near the scene.‌One man, who lives near the cordon, said: "There was a big commotion afterwards, lots of police cars and it looked like two or three ambulances."
