Man held for allegedly sexually assaulting four-year-old girl in Malkajgiri

The Malkajgiri police have booked a case against a 31-year-old man for allegedly sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl after luring her with chocolates.The suspect, identified as Ravi Kumar, is a resident of Mallikarjunagar who reportedly works at a tent house. He was taken into custody after the child disclosed the alleged assault to her mother.The police said the incident occurred on the afternoon of July 26 at an apartment building near the area where the child was playing. Ravi Kumar allegedly called the girl over on the pretext of giving her chocolates before sexually assaulting her.The child returned home crying and informed her mother about the incident.
