Man gets five years in ‘unprovoked attack’ that left Winnipeg senior with fractures, loss of independence

A Winnipeg man has been sentenced to five years in prison for randomly attacking an elderly woman on the street, leaving her with bone fractures and what her family calls a “complete loss of independence.”
