Man fights for life following Salford flats balcony plunge horror as police question attempted murder suspect

A man has been arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder of a man who fell from a balcony at a block of flats.The suspect, aged in his 20s, was in custody for questioning on Saturday (August 29) as the man who fell, also believed to be in his 20s, was fighting for his life in hospital.Police said he was taken to hospital from the scene in Langworthy, Salford, with 'life-threatening injuries' and remained there in a 'critical condition' on Saturday afternoon.
