Man, daughter found dead in Kasaragod

A 48-year-old man and his 16-year-old daughter, natives of Meepugiri, were found dead at a rented house at Shivapuram in Koliyadukkam on Saturday (August 15, 2026) night.The deceased have been identified as Ganesan and his daughter Vaishnavi, a Plus Two student at Paravanadukkam Government Higher Secondary School.According to the first information report, the incident is believed to have occurred between 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Saturday. The police registered a case of unnatural death under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita. The investigation and further proceedings are continuing.
