Just before 6.40am Merseyside Police received report of a burglary at McSwiggin's - House of Stout on Fenwick Street.‌McSwiggin's opened on Wednesday, July 15 at 25 Fenwick Street, breathing new life into the well-known Grade II listed "Castle Moat House" after years of it sitting empty. It is the latest venue from Liverpool Independent operator Pub Invest Group which also runs the Rubber Soul Complex, The Old Bank, Temple Tavern and Level.‌The cupboards, fridges and windows of the pub were damaged and several bottles of vodka and whiskey were taken from the premises.
