Merseyside Police were contacted on Friday, July 10 following reports a 46-year-old man had been walking down Millers Bridge the previous evening at around 9pm when he was approached by two men.‌He was then hit on the head with a wine bottle, causing an injury to his face which required hospital treatment. An investigation is underway and enquiries are in the process of being carried out.
