Man, 55, shot in Garfield Park neighborhood in June dies

A man shot on the city's West Side in June died earlier this week from the wound, officials said. A Monday autopsy determined David Allen, 55, died of complications of a gunshot wound and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
