Smith, 75, was remembered by her family as ‘the life and soul of the party’ after dying in hospital on August 12. Police had been called to Tollington Park in Finsbury Park on August 11, attending reports of a burglary. An 81-year-old man was taken to hospital after being treated on scene but is believed to have been discharged the following day. Jeffrey Dean Rose, 46, of Apsley Close, North Harrow, was arrested 10 days later and has been charged with manslaughter and aggravated burglary. He i
