Man, 35, charged over death of girl, 9, who was found injured at industrial park

The girl, who had been camping in the area with her family, was found hurt at Elliot industrial estate in Arbroath just after midnight on Monday. She was then taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, where she died. Police Scotland said a 35-year-old white British man, known to the girl, who was arrested in connection with her death has now been charged. He is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court later today.
