Man, 24, stabbed to death in Levenshulme as murder arrest made

Police said officers were called to Chapel Street just after 7pm yesterday (August 15) and found a man had suffered 'serious stab wounds'.The 24-year-old died at the scene. A 27-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of murder.He remains in custody for questioning. The deceased has not yet been named.
