Mamdani admin extends $1.86B ‘emergency contract’ for NYC hotels to serve as homeless shelters

The Mamdani administration has re-upped a 3-year $1.86 billion contract with the Hotel Association of New York City to have scores of hotels provide emergency shelter to the city's large homeless population.
