The closures are part of wider changes to the Lloyds Banking Group branch network, as more customers move towards online and mobile banking.‌It comes as Halifax, which has branches in Birmingham, is retired by Lloyds Banking Group. The bank says: "There are no changes to previously announced plans for our branches.‌"The vast majority of Halifax branches will either rebrand to Lloyds, or you'll be served by an existing Lloyds branch in that community.
