Major retailer recalls children’s water bottle over chocking hazard

A children’s water bottle has been urgently recalled over fears it is a choking hazard.The major discount retailer, Home Bargains, has urged customers to stop using the Toy Story water bottle immediately and to keep it out of the reach of children. It presents a choking hazard because the spout can detach from the lid, creating a small part which could block a child’s airway. TJ Morris, the parent company of Home Bargains, issued an urgent recall after it was identified as a choking hazard. Sold from May 2026 to mark the release of Pixar’s new Toy Story 5 movie, the blue water bottle has a red lid and is decorated with characters from the film Toy story.
