Mainland Europe's first total eclipse since 2006
We’re just hours away from a rare celestial event: a total solar eclipse. Day will briefly turn to night across parts of northern Spain as the Moon completely blocks out the Sun, while millions more will witness a partial eclipse across Europe, Canada, the northern United States and northwest Africa. But how a total solar eclipse work? Loic Rossi, Project manager at the French Astronomy Association, tells us everything on solar eclipses.
