MADLANGA COMMISSION: Woolworths shopper, patient Suliman Carrim, faces criminal charges after final commission no-show

The Madlanga Commission will lay criminal charges against ANC member and businessman Suliman Carrim after he repeatedly failed to appear and refused an independent medical assessment. The move ends months of wrangling over Carrim’s medical excuses. Evidence leader Adila Hassim says he may be in breach of the Commissions Act.
