Madeira establishing statute of older people in the Portugal archipelago

The Madeira Assembly has approved the legislation establishing the Statute for the Elderly in the region, aiming to provide “a more effective and coherent response to the needs of the elderly” in the archipelago, according to the responsible regional secretary.
