Machete-wielding youths steal bike in robbery near Tameside primary school

Officers were called to reports of the incident on Norman Road near Broadoak Oasis Primary School on Saturday (August 1).According to Greater Manchester Police, the robbery occurred at around 3.40pm. Police say that three suspects approached the teenager and stole his bicycle. One of the assailants was carrying a large machete, according to reports.It is understood the offenders made off along a footpath connecting Norman Road, Hall Road and Pollitt Avenue.
