Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway damage: Toll collection suspended

NHAI has penalized PNC Infratech for defects on the Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway. No toll will be collected on the expressway until repairs are completed. Several officials and consultants have been debarred from future highway projects. An expert team will investigate the underlying causes of the road surface damage. PNC Infratech will bear the costs for rectifying the damaged expressway sections.
