Liverpool weather today as heat alert ends ahead of next heatwave

Warm temperatures are predicted to continue09:00, 20 Jul 2026The heat health alert covering Liverpool and others parts of the country has been lifted but a return to scorching temperatures may not be far away. The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) issued yellow heat health alerts issued for the East Midlands, East of England, London, North West, South East, South West and West Midlands last week.‌These came to an end on Friday, July 17 at 9pm. No weather warnings by the UKHSA or the Met Office are currently in place. However, temperatures could reach as high as 38C next week.‌The Global Forecast System (GFS) model shows temperatures rising into the 30s once more on July 27, peaking at 33C in western England and reaching 32C quite widely across southern areas.‌Temperatures should then rise
