Live performers take over Cardiff street and transform it into stunning carnival

Live performers took over a Cardiff street in spectacular fashion on Saturday for a free event celebrating the communities of Adamsdown, Splott and Tremorfa. Between 12pm and 4pm, Clifton Street was filled with music, dancing, children's activities and workshops. The fun began with a drumming parade led by Barracwda, a local band inspired by Afro-Brazilian music. Later came the unveiling of a 12ft shawl – a community artwork telling the stories of many local people and cultures.
