LIV Golf not dead yet with rebel league on brink of landing $250 million-plus in investments
LIV Golf is not dead yet. With reports of LIV Golf on life support and seemingly taking its final few breaths, The Post has learned that its demise is not as imminent as it was believed to be. Sources have told The Post that LIV, which had its Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund (PIF) money pulled this year, is on the cusp of landing new investors to keep the tour alive into 2027 and beyond. Since the PIF announced in April that it would no longer fund LIV beyond the 2026 season, the tour’s CEO Scott O’Neil has feverishly been seeking outside financial backing to keep it in existence.
