Lithuanian President Nausėda Arrives in Kyiv Ahead of Independence Day

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda arrived in Kyiv on the morning of Sunday, Aug. 23, ahead of Ukraine’s 35th Independence Day. Nausėda announced his two-day itinerary, which includes meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky, participating in Flag Day and Independence Day events, and holding discussions with Nordic-Baltic allies. He is also scheduled to attend a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing on Aug. 24.
