Lithium battery ‘most probable cause’ as Belfast docks fire could last for further number of hours

A lithium-ion battery has been identified as “the most probable cause” of an ongoing fire at a scrap metal site at Belfast harbour. The blaze at the Clearway Disposals recycling facility, which contains around 4,500 tonnes of metal and cars, has been ongoing for almost 24 hours.
