LETTER: What does Trump know about vaccines?

Richard L. Strickland Las Vegas August 26, 2026 - 9:00 pm In his recent letter, Robert W. Arnold tells us he thinks the Trump administration’s new vaccine policy makes sense. He says that, when he was 18 years old, he had to have a bunch of shots and it knocked him for a loop. I too am old, and a lovely lady, my sister-in-law, got the measles when she was about 8-years-old. It developed into meningitis. She was a sleeping beauty. And, when she wakened, she had the developed brain of an 8-year old and remained that way until she died about the age of 60. Yeah, it knocked her for a loop. Mr. Arnold should follow prior policy and make sure your grandchildren have their inoculations as they were previously scheduled.
