I believe I’ve witnessed a bit of a double standard by the Las Vegas Valley Water District in its monitoring and policing of excessive and unnecessary water usage by Clark County residents. As part of a Homeowners Association, I have seen local water patrols driving through my neighborhood, looking for evidence of poor watering practices, and I completely support everyone doing their best in the conservation of the water resources. However, I am questioning the thoroughness and span of these observational tours. I utilize county parks in the neighborhood near my house for daily walks most every morning.
