LETTER: Mainstream Democrats and the socialists

Mike Morgan Las Vegas August 4, 2026 - 9:00 pm You can’t watch cable news or scroll on your phone without seeing story after story on the Democratic Socialists of America. Their wish list includes eliminating the presidency, the Senate and ICE, open borders and no Department of War. These goofy ideas are laughed at by probably 95 percent of our country, yet many on the Left don’t or won’t condemn them. Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., forcefully has condemned them. Rep. Susie Lee of Nevada was among a group of Democrats who made it clear they are a “no” on this nonsense. But where’s Nevada Sen. Jacky Rosen? If she commented, I can’t find it.
