Less than half of the seats on offer filled after second round of TNEA 2026 counselling

ChennaiLess than 45% of the total seats available for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 have been filled after the second round of the counselling process.As per figures released by the TNEA authorities, a little less than 89,000 students have been given provisional allotments till the end of the second round of counselling. Compared to last year’s engineering admissions at the same stage, there has been a drop of about 4.5% in seat allotment.
