Lennon battles to enter Scottish Labour leadership race

SOCIALIST MPs have rallied behind Monica Lennon as she battles to secure a place in the contest to lead the Scottish Labour Party. The Glasgow MSP and former chair of the Scottish Labour Trade Union Group already has the backing of Unison, with more expected to follow. But concerns are being raised that there has been a concerted effort to keep her off the ballot paper as rivals Michael Marra and Joe Fagan hoover up MSP nominations.
