Landslide renders Ilocos Sur road impassable as Maymay nears

SAN ILDEFONSO, Ilocos Sur — A portion of the Suyo–Cervantes Road in Barangay Urzadan, in Suyo, Ilocos Sur, was rendered impassable to all types of vehicles on Wednesday after a landslide blocked the roadway amid heavy rains. As of 1:05 p.m., authorities reported that landslide debris had completely obstructed the road, making it impassable for
