Laguna de Bay nears critical level as habagat rains persist

LUCENA CITY – The water level of Laguna de Bay has risen significantly amid persistent rains brought by the enhanced southwest monsoon, reaching 12.03 meters on Tuesday, according to the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA). The LLDA said near-real-time monitoring through its Radar Level Sensors (RLS) showed the lake’s water level ranging from 12.02 to
