La Paz Just Held the Gran Poder Festival It Nearly Lost

The Fiesta del Gran Poder 2026 in La Paz was held on Saturday 1 August, ending in the early hours of Sunday, after being postponed twice due to more than 50 days of road blockades that isolated the city. The event featured 74 fraternities, roughly 95,000 dancers, and 35,000 musicians.
