Kyrgyzstan Seeks More Russian Fuel as Moscow’s Crisis Spreads Into Central Asia

Kyrgyzstan is reportedly in talks with Russia over additional fuel imports as Moscow’s fuel crisis spills into the Central Asian nation, which sources around 90% of its gasoline from Russia. Although Russia’s fuel export ban is due to expire at the end of July, its deputy prime minister has indicated it will likely be extended through the end of 2026.
