A database of car collisions in California claimed San Francisco 49ers head coach was not at fault for the car crash that prevented him from participating in training camp, per multiple reports.Using the California Crash Reporting System, both Sports Illustrated and the San Francisco Chronicle were able to look up more details from the crash the involved the 49ers’ head coach.While that database revealed Shanahan was reportedly holding and using his cell phone just before the crash, the coach was not considered at fault. It was determined that the 21-year-old woman driving the other car reportedly made an unsafe turn, resulting in the crash.The database does not contain names of the drivers.
