Krazy Races 2026: Stockport road closures in place for big event with RAF flypast

What's OnWhat's On NewsStockportThe popular event is back for its biggest year to date06:41, 07 Aug 2026An event compared to the Wacky Races will be taking over Stockport this Sunday as a host of soapbox vehicles attempt their way through a crazy course.‌Krazy Races, which was first held in the town centre back in 2023, has grown into one of Stockport’s biggest family-friendly events. Each year, the main attraction is a soapbox derby where over 25 teams will compete for fame and glory.‌Competitors will tackle a 350m course through the town that is packed with chicanes, obstacles, water splashes and other surprises all whilst dressed up in fun outfits.
