Krazy Races 2026: RAF flypast, race times and road closures as big Stockport event returns

The wacky races tournament returns for another big year07:09, 06 Aug 2026This weekend, Stockport will feature soapbox tournaments, classic cars and a RAF flypast as the town’s Krazy Races makes its big annual return.‌The main event features a barmy soapbox derby featuring up to 40 teams who compete for fame and glory in front of thousands of spectators. The family-friendly event has been a big draw since it was first held back in 2023.‌As well as featuring the derby which will see competitors tackle a 350m course packed with chicanes, obstacles and water splashes, this year’s Krazy Races will also feature a classic car showcase from Italian Auto Moto Club as well as a special flypast from a RAF aircraft.‌Click here for the latest on Manchester's food & drink scene, gigs and more in our Cit
