Konaseema handloom weavers’ societies to get ₹6.36 crore credit

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema District Collector R. Mahesh Kumar has said that the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development would be recommended to offer ₹6.36 crore credit to the eligible ten handloom weavers’ cooperative societies in the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district.In the district, three societies are inactive, while three more societies did not seek credit. However, the ten societies need credit for their operations and to increase production.The ten handloom weavers’ cooperative societies are based in Hosanbad, K. Jagannadhapuram, Maamidikuduru, Addampalli, Penumalli, Bandaru Lanka, Rangapuram, Mori, Sivabalayogi and Aadivarapupeta in the district. Published - July 29, 2026 08:42 pm IST
