Kharkiv Authorities Hold Security Talks Ahead of Winter, After Nearly 6,000 Russian Strikes

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov and Interior Minister Ivan Vyhivsky held a joint security meeting on Friday, Aug. 7, unveiling that Russian forces have shelled the region over 5,900 times since January. Authorities said more than 16,000 residents have been evacuated this year, while preparing for the upcoming winter.
