Khanapur temple idols damaged

Unidentified miscreants allegedly damaged idols in the Sri Siddeshwar temple in Nidagal near Khanapur in Belagavi district.The incident came to light on Monday. The village residents called the police who came to the spot.The police registered a case. The temple Shivalinga and Nandi, a statuette of a tortoise, and the Tulasi pot were damaged.
