Key border crossing between Argentina and Chile reopens after weather closure

BUENOS AIRES, Aug 18 - An international crossing in the Andes mountain range that connects Argentina with Chile reopened on Tuesday after being closed for a record 34 days due to heavy snowfall and strong winds during the El Niño phenomenon.
