Kerala HC to consider plea challenging ACS order restructuring police associations and dissolving KPOA
A petition by the Kerala Police Association (KPA) before the Kerala High Court, aggrieved by an order of the Additional Chief Secretary (Home) to re-organise the association and dissolve the Kerala Police Officers Association (KPOA), is set to be considered by the Single Bench of Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas on Thursday (July 30, 2026).The KPA challenged the reorganisation order, citing that it violated its fundamental right to form associations under the Constitution of India.
