KBO attendance tops 9 million

The KBO League crossed the 9 million mark in cumulative attendance as play resumed following its break during the summer heat. The Korea Baseball Organization said 67,134 spectators attended Tuesday's five games, raising the 2026 season total to 9,049,365. The milestone came after 505 games, improving on last year's record pace of 528 games by 23. The league has reached each million-fan benchmark from 1 million through 9 million faster than in any previous season. Average attendance is 17,920 pe
