Karnataka forms sub-committee to vet revised minimum wages

The Karnataka government on Tuesday announced the composition of the Cabinet sub-committee headed by Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwar, set up to review the revision of minimum wages.The committee will study whether the May 22, 2026, notification enhancing minimum wages is in consonance with the Code on Wages, 2019, brought by the Union government.
