Karkidaka Vavu: Hundreds offer ‘bali tharpanam’ at Aluva in Kerala’s Ernakulam

Many, including women and elderly, from various places turned up at the Siva temple premises on the banks of the Periyar River from the morning to perform the ritual. Over 40 balitharas (booths) were set up for the ceremonies
