Jalen Brunson takes in Yankees game — and makes Knicks NBA championship reminder

For a lot of New York, it’s still Knicks in five. Jalen Brunson was an attendee at the Yankees’ 2-1 loss to the Dodgers in The Bronx on Friday night and made sure everyone remembered the Knicks’ playoff battle cry. The all-world floor general, who led the Knicks to their first NBA title since 1973, was taking in the baseball game while showing off a customized Yankee hat that actually read “KNICKS IN 5” on the side. Earlier in the day, Brunson attended Fanatics Fest, where, as a lifelong Eagles fan, he refused to sign a Giants helmet before writing “Go Birds.” This continues yet another honor-filled week for Brunson, who won three individual ESPYs at the Lincoln Center-hosted event on Wednesday, commemorating the best in sports for the previous calendar year.
