Jalen Brunson declined to recruit LeBron James to New York Knicks
While various players from across the league's landscape have spent the offseason recruiting LeBron James to their respective squads, Jalen Brunson took the opposite approach. During an appearance at Fanatics Fest, Brunson revealed that he didn't recruit James to New York at all after leading the Knicks to their first NBA title in over 50 years. He said he leaves the pitching up to the front office. "My job is to put the ball in the hoop and try to play a little defense," Brunson said. "There are people above me who determine who's on the team and who's not.
