Jacob deGrom missing next start in Rangers injury worry
Jacob deGrom will get an extended All-Star break. The Rangers right-hander will miss his final start before the All-Star Game against the Astros with “mild left glute strains,” manager Skip Schumaker told reporters Friday. DeGrom pitched just five innings in his last outing against the Angels on Tuesday because of hip and leg issues, though at the time he felt he would be good to go against the Astros.
